Excerpts from "The Leonardo Bridge" (a total of 35 minutes) will be performed by the Istanbul State Opera Soloists, Chorus and Orchestra on September 11, 2009 at this year's Interdependence Movement convention in Istanbul (www.civworld.org). The New York baritone Frank Basile will sing the role of Leonardo da Vinci.

DA VINCI MUSIC DECODED
LA CANZONE DI LEONARDO
This 8 min work for baritone and orchestra/ pianoforte consists of 8 bars of original, authentic Leonardo melody and text, decoded from his notebooks, harmonized and orchestrated by Daniel Nazareth. This authentic Leonardo melody was deciphered (2007) by Nazareth and Louis Buff Parry to bear out the same Pythagoras 47 theorem that Leonardo loved to use as architect, painter, scientist and inventor.
